The needs of hair change depending on a season because its problems change, too. Winter is one of the toughest seasons for hair – low temps, humidity outside and dry air inside don’t do hair good. After winter, hair mostly suffers from the lack of hydration. Delivering enough water should be one of the first steps. How to do it? Too bad we can’t simply rinse it with water. Products, infused with washing substances such as SLS or SLES, aren’t welcome in a spring beauty case. The key thing is that when we use them in excess, they will weaken the natural hydro-lipid barrier, make hair dry and irritate the scalp. In spring, hair is going to surely thank you for cosmetics with natural ingredients that are free of harmful substances but are rich in humectants, emollients and proteins. After winter, mild shampoos make a good choice.

Pt 5. Cut hair ends down

The only piece of advice for splitting ends is… trimming. There isn’t a product which can miraculously bind them back together – permanent damage cannot be rebuilt. Before starting any conditioning actions, we must slightly cut hair down and give it the right shape. In this way, hair will be free of static or frizz.
